My little cat, Socks, has got horrible swollen scabs above her ears. It has been treated with steroid injections but keeps returning, each time more aggressive and with less and less time in between each episode. Socks has had to have three steroid injections (29th June, 5th September, 17th October). After each injection the scab had gone away but, now it is so frequent the scabs are growing over ones that haven’t even had time to heal yet. She is now on constant steroid tablets but not looking any better. Please help, my vets are perplexed!
