Nemo is missing again, been gone a week. I have made up posters and will be delivering them to the whole estate tomorrow. I am sure he has a second home somewhere, as he was missing for 2 months from oct-dec, and disappeared for the odd few days after he returned. I have put on the poster about his medical needs (he suffers with feline lower urine tract disease, and where he was shot in 2006, he could devolpe arthesis when he is older) but whats the chance that someone will actually phone me and say 'sorry, I have your cat'

dont give up hope ,he may be in someones garden shed or someone has thought your cat is a stray,i have read many times about cats turning up weeks after they have gone off.

he is so not a stray, he is a huge heavy fluffy thing.. lol. I know he has a second home somewhere, he is a git, comes back when he needs vet treatment, then buggers off again when he is better.

well he obviously fancied a holiday ,so he will be back when he feels like another change of scenery

Ring around the local vets and rescue shelters too just in case. We had a couple of cats at work last week that were brought in as strays that had been fed for two months by a lady who was about to emigrate and couldn't face abandoning them. Long story, but five days later the owner called us and collected her cats back! She lived over the back of the lady who had brought them in thinking they had been stray all that time. If she had been going on holiday rather than emigrating, perhaps she would have put them in the cattery for a week or two!?!

he is mircochipped so figured that the vets would phone me.

Next time he does turn up put a collar on and slip a note underneath. Perhaps say if you are that desperate to have my cat please phone me so I can pass on his vet details!!!!

He is so naughty!!!!!!!!!! Does he object to the dc do you think? Our cat is so stupid he loves all the dc an extra 4 people to stroe him even if it is backwards/upwards/sidewards etc

I put a collar on him when he returned in dec. but he disappeared at the begining of jan, and returned without the collar.. I think the baby has upset him.

"he is mircochipped so figured that the vets would phone me. "

Bear in mind that not all vets check for chips on new animals brought in to them.
