Sphynx cat jumper

A cold snap last night made think about getting our Sphynx cat a jumper. She normally snuggles under a Sherpa throw but was making a fuss overnight and think the house may have been too cool.

Can anyone recommend a seller?

I get my spynx dog jumpers from B&M. He's had knitted type ones that he's tried to eat before so I've moved onto fleece fabric which he tolerates. He's got a jilet/body warmer that he really likes!

Can I just ask are Sphinx cats more difficult to look after than other breeds, we have all ways had indoor cats and are variety of breeds, I know nothing about the Sphinx but I do realise being hairless they need to be kept warm obviously! My friend is thinking of getting one, I was reading that they have oily skin and need to be bathed regularly, but are very loving,

@CambsAlways They do have oily skin and can leave brown marks on bedding and pale clothes. I don't bathe mine but do wipe her down with pet wipes and use cotton buds to remove ear wax.

Totally worth it though as Sphynx cats are brilliant. Curious, playful, affectionate and attentive.

I follow a few accounts of Sphynx on Instagram. Fascinating cats.

Another consideration is their boredom threshold. I've had cats all my life but Ziggy is my first spynx. I wasn't prepared for how bored and destructive he can be! They are ultra intelligent so need to be kept busy! They are a bit of a cross between cat/monkey/dog. I've bought him loads of interactive toys which take him about two minutes to work out then he's bored with it. They love their humans and want to be with them or playing with them. Ziggy favourite game is fetch with his beloved woolly pom pom. But they are extremely loving, I have to share my bed and pillow each night with a very hot little body. I don't baths Ziggy it makes him more oily but I do wipe him over. They need a weekly claw clip, nail clean and ear clean too. The picture of him was taken in the heatwave, apologies for the state of his new bed, he wrecks them within a few weeks!

Madonna is beautiful! I love her little jacket, Ziggy would eat that within a week (the jacket not Madonna)!

We are a DIY kinda family when it comes to the cats clothes. We cut the sleeve off an old cardigan/jumper and make a couple of leg holes and the jobs a good un.

We must have got the lazy type because ours spends 90% of her time under my duvet even when it is 30°C and the other 10% eating. She occasionally has a mad half hour where she chases and bitch slaps our other cat but she's pretty chill other than that. Apart from her voracious appetite that costs us a bomb she is really low maintenance.

Madonna plays fetch too. And yes to having to share bed space under the duvet, although I did half sit on her this morning as I forgot she was still there.
