I have an 18 month old female cat, and although she can be loving she is also a little nutty (not in the good sense )
Last night she attacked me quite bad because i stopped stroking her
I have a 3 and 5 yr old ds and i can't risk this happening to them. I called the RSPCA and the Cat Protection League who said they couldn't take her so what do i do next?? I cannot keep her in the house for fear of her hurting my boys, but am not a nasty person who would just lock her out! Where the hell do i turn???

Have you considered trying Feliway? Supposed to calm down cats... might be worth a try for a week or two to see if it makes any difference.

Why won't the RSPCA/CPL take her? Can you find someone willing to rehome her (without kids around) who will accept the odd nutty phase?

Where did you get her from?

I got her from a friend (who told me recently her mother was schizophrenic???) The animal sanctuary's wont take them because there is cat flu going around I don't know what to do i'm so about this as no one i know can take her

Does she go outdoors? In which case I would keep her outside in the day (you can get a cat shelter where she can hide from the rain) and let her in at night when your DCs have gone to bed. Then take her to a rescue shelter as soon as they are taking admissions again.

We have got one of these for our cat, who is outside all day.
