Dog theft is real - we are going through it right now!

Dog-napping is real, we are going through the pain at the moment. Pekoe has been missing for 8 days and we are beside ourselves with worry. Its like having your child stolen.
Pls dont let it happen to you, its the most distressing experience.

Pls help us find Pekoe and bring her home safely. We are trying to raise the awareness nationally as she has probably been moved from East Sussex to who knows where. Someone must know where she is.... so please spread the word and share as much as you can. Pls print and post this poster in your village just in case and make friends aware.

How was she stolen? Out and about or from a home?

I can’t pm you have you got a traveller site near to you ? We have had a few dogs go missing here one very high profile similar to yours the owner gave a large reward privately you need someone to negotiate for you in this case they knew the van where is was registered the police did nothing. pm me I can point you in the direction of the people whose dog it was they maybe able to help the dog was on its way to Ireland

That's such a heart ache, I'm sorry to hear about this.

I think of it whenever I'm out. I once had a man ask if he could take a pic of my dog, obviously I said no. If he was a part of any crime group he would have been very unskilled at it, but hey ho. We also know someone who's dog was snatched, but then thrown out of the vehicle straight away because the dog was feisty and didn't take kindly to being nabbed. I worry so much about our eldest as she doesn't look her age and is a beautiful pure breed (not boasting, al of ours are rescues). She's in the last year or so of the lifespan for her breed, she sleeps all the time and is frequently ill, and needs to the vet often, but when she's out she often looks young and sprightly. I fear her being taken and not looked after properly in this stage of her life. My heart goes out to you.

Hello everyone, its now been nearly 8 weeks since Pekoe, our lurcher went missing, believed stolen from Brede High Wood, near Hastings. We are trying to keep her visibility high and are still posting online and at certain physical sites.

We are doing all we can to get her back. Please also see the Poster that we have been posting. There is a very significant reward for information leading to her safe return. We have had a very generous donation so a FOUR FIGURE sum might encourage someone to either give her up or help look for her.
