Fleas?

Growly-dog never had fleas before. Now I am not certain that he has them now, but he has little bits of black something-or-other in his fur (stuck quite low down - I thought it was just filth and was pulling it out) but last night I noticed a small black scurrying thing on his tummy.

Now he isn't scratching that much (and neither are we) and I noticed the black stuff ages ago so I would've thought had he been infested with fleas that one of us would have had the odd bite (he sits on the sofas etc so I would've thought they would be everywhere).

Plus I thought fleas were brown colour. And jumped not scurried?

Frontlined him last night, but will that kill everything small and beastly?

Growly dog with fleas...never, he's too cute We love your dog here, all the boys look at his picture and want him!

If you can get hold of some acclaim as well and spray furniture, carpets etc, and wash his bed, that's what we do when we have a very rare attack of fleas, mainly borught in by a visiting dog.

Been to vet (just called in for advice!). Growlydog is a fleabag.

Growlydog says he quite likes the company. But frontline is our best friend. Washing throws and blankets like a woman possessed!
