Does this sound as if there's something wrong with my cat's leg?

I've just noticed that when our cats sits he puts his right hind legs straight out in front and doens't bend it. Is that normal? He is about 18 months and is big with very long legs. people always comment on the length of his legs when they see him.
I've never has cats before so I can't tell if there is a problem.

My cat used to sit with her rear legs stretched out in front of her and her front legs between them.

If he can bend the leg when he is walking ok, then it could just be that this is how he feels comfortable sitting.

Worth keeping an eye on him as it does sound a bit odd

If he doesn't appear to be bending it at other times, I would definitely take him to the vet for them to check it out. Have you had him from being a kitten? Has he always done this or just started?

We've had him from 16 weeks and I've never noticed it before. It doens't seem to stop him rampaging around. I suppose I need to check that he can still crounch down and crawl thru the grass before going to the vets.
