Always wanted a tortoise

Hi folks, I'm just looking for some advice / tips around keeping a tortoise, or a pair of them. Ever since I was a little girl I have wanted one, and at the grand age of 39 I think I'm ready to bite the bullet and get a couple. I'm thinking horsfield or hermanns. What are the pro's / cons for a vivarium compared to tortoise table?

Do you think it would be ok to keep two together?

Join the tortoise protection group facebook page and read their files
they need to be kept in singles
no vivariums for hermans
tortoise table only, topsoil, correct UV, diet of weeds and flowers dusted with supplements or they jus die a slow death.Bagged salad, pellets and fruit is a big no.
There are always tortoises for rehoming too
