Is my kitten eating enough?

She is 12 weeks old and on Whiskas pouches only. The box says she should have 3/4 pouches a day but she only ever eats a max of 1.5 in a day...

Is she eating enough? How can I get her to eat more (or will she be ok?)

Is she skinny? A good way to encourage a cat to eat more is to have a bowl of biccies always available and then offer wet food twice a day because a lot of cats are grazers and prefer to eat little bits often

I'm no vet or kitten expert but that sounds fine. Ours is a greedy sod, and she'd struggle to get through more than two in a day. Persoanlly, I think they put that on the back to make you buy more, and forcefeed your poor kitten

She won't eat bickies - I got some whiskas dry stuff too and she won't eat it!

She doesn't seem skinny - can't feel her spine particularly protruding or anything... she looks "fit"

If she is lively, not feeling skinny and seems to be growing then do not worry. I would make sure she is wormed with a decent wormer though - speak to your vet to get something worthwhile.
