Cystitis in cats

My cat has had cystitis a few times over the years, it usually clears up after a jab at the vet and a day of pills.

This time we are on day 3 and she is still trying to wee in random places and only dribbling.

Took her back to the vet and they’ve said if it hasn’t cleared by Monday then we’ll investigate further Sad

Has anyone had a cat with a persistent bout of cystitis or should I prepare for the worst?

She’s not insured either so this is an unexpected fortune straight after Christmas Confused

Our cat has cystitis and when hers flares up it can last 4-5 months ☹️
The only thing we’ve found that works is Cystaid Plus capsules. You open the capsule and sprinkle on their food. It’s meat flavoured so designed for cats to like the taste. You use two per day for the first three weeks and then one per day after then, for life.
They really do work though - I’ve just been writing about them on another thread 🤣

@VouisLuitton thank you! Luckily it cleared up, it did last about a week though.
