Cat hasn’t came home in 2 days

My 2 yr old female cat hasn’t came home for 2 days now, which is quite unusual of her since she generally prefers the indoors. I’m honestly worried sick, I’ve been out looking for her, calling her name and even shaken her box of cat food but she’s still no where to be seen. She usually stays in the garden or just out the front of the house, I just hope she’s okay, I’d be heartbroken if anything has happened to her😓 I guess I’m just looking for reassurance that she’ll be okay?

Oh you poor thing. It's happened to me a few times and it's so stressful! Have you alerted the neighbours and asked them to check sheds and garages etc? I made up a little poster and posted it to all the nearby houses. Cats sometimes do just go on adventures. My cat has been away for 2 days at a time. My friend's cat recently disappeared for a week and strolled back in as if nothing had happened. It's very mild at the moment so maybe she's just been exploring. I hope she comes home soon.

My female does this too and it came on quite suddenly as she was a homebird kitten/ young cat. Don't worry, nearly all times they turn up again. Let us know when she turns up

Our cat did this once and we think she was locked in someone's garage. Disappeared on a Friday night, came back early morning on a Monday. Put posters up
And knock on doors locally. Good luck.

One of my 2 does this from time to time.

I suspect he's out hunting or maybe visiting another house.
( I've seen him quite a distance away).

His brother visits neighbours' houses from time to time. ( Ate their salmon! Slept in their bedroom etc.) Presumably if she has eaten elsewhere she'll not feel the need to return as frequently.

Also I've sometimes nearly trodden on them when gardening, they're so good at hiding. Perhaps she's nearer then you think. Just not visible to you.

I hope she comes back soon. I read somewhere that if a place has 30 cat owners you'll often find there are only 20 cats in the area - as they like to visit more than one home. Am hoping this is the case with yours.
