I spotted him in the garden, DH managed to coach him in and grabbed him Am about to take ti the vets as his leg doesn't look right, but he is fat and looks great...

SOunds like he's been well fed!

sparklygothkat · 13/12/2007 12:39

mmm He has lost a bit of weight, but he has been admitted as the vet thinks the pin in his leg has moved. He isn't bearing weight on his left leg. He also smells quite strongly of wee which makes me think his feline lower urine tract disease has flared up too.

sparklygothkat · 13/12/2007 12:44

no the vet said he looks healthy and he certainly isn't skinny, but has lost 1kg since he was last at the vets.

Aw thats so nice SGK

Wish my cat would come back, but he has been missing for nearly 2 years so not much chance of that, i miss him loads

So for you! hope he ok.

sparklygothkat · 13/12/2007 12:46

he turned his nose up at the food I put down, which makes me think he has been spoilt wherever he has been

that he has returned bet the children will be pleased when they come home from school

silkcushion · 13/12/2007 12:46

fantastic news sgk

Saturn74 · 13/12/2007 12:48

He's probably 'done a Garfield', and been treated like a prince somewhere down the road!
Glad he's home safely.

sparklygothkat · 13/12/2007 12:48

we aren't telling them until he comes home from the vets, he might need another operation to fix his leg again. If we tell them now, they will just be upset that he isn't here IYKWIM

Probaly a good idea

Hope he he is ok

sparklygothkat · 13/12/2007 12:52

thank god for insurance, and thank god I took out the extra cover which means there is no time limit on conditions and they will pay out upto £4000 (so far on his leg we have had £1,800)

pania · 13/12/2007 13:06

Wow. I wonder if the people he's been with are going to put "missing cat" posters up around your neighbourhood!

sparklygothkat · 13/12/2007 13:20

lol, dh said he will go mad if anyone knocks asking if we have seen him, because we have had him from a kitten, he is mircochipped, and has a condition which means he can have certain foods

OP posts:
sparklygothkat · 13/12/2007 16:45

he has a raging bladder infection but the vet said he should be ok. His leg is fine

OP posts:
sparklygothkat · 13/12/2007 20:58

help! He seems really sleepy, he had a pre-med today for the x-rays, is that normal?? (all the other times he has pre-med he has had an operation, so didn't see him till after he came round)

I believe that someone took into their home, loved him and looked after him, until the FLUTD took hold and he started peeing all over their house, then they kicked him out
