So I am abroad and mum has taken her dog to have the snip as she kept him from her litter and obviously has mum and another female dog at home. They phoned yesterday to say come get him everything is fine- she arrived and after bill was paid the vet pulled her to a room and said he has a massive blood clot. The dog won’t move and is clearly in agony- they have no pain killers but have said bring him back today and tomorrow for free.
He came back at 3.00pm and hasn’t wee’d or anything he is going back at 11.00am but how they have sent him home is not acceptable to me- I work medically and know this causes agony - any advice welcome

Jesus she needs to take that dog to another vet and report the one who left the dog in that state.

@TEH82
Did your mum manage to get him to another vet? That looks so painful ☹️ I hope he has some painkillers now.

Thanks he was taken to another vet who drained it gave pain killers and antibiotics. Still in cage rest but eating and emptying vowels and bladder at last
