Disclaimer-not my dog but have fallen in love with her!
Been staying with DF for past couple of weeks. A few days ago she (Vizsla) licked some orange peel (I took one quarter from her mouth and DF claims he found a quarter, there were two quarters on the plate, so we don't think she ate any).
That evening she was eating grass and threw up. This was last Friday I think.
Since then she's been doing a lot of swallowing, wretching, eating grass. She's been pretty chipper (is this dog speak?), but tonight she looks quite bereft and mopey, although still ok to bark at / chase a hedgehog. Her eyes look a little red and her ears are cold.
They're going to speak to the vet tomorrow in case she has scratched her throat and needs antibiotics, apparently this happened once before but the vet couldn't find a cause so gave antiobiotics anyway.
Just looking for reassurance, I really don't want to have harmed the dog with my orange peel, or want any harm to come to her as she's my new best pal

I'm going home tomorrow and sad to leave her!
