Does anyone know or have any information about the use of aromatherapy/homeopathy for animals.

A close friend of mine has a 7 year old doberman who is having problems with his neck, which is causing him to limp on his front legs.

The vets say that it is a common problem that this breed of dogs have.

It sounds like a problem called Wobblers syndrome where there is pressure on the spinal cord from the vertebrae. I would suggest if this is the case that she asks her vet to refer the dog to a specialist. This sort of thing if it does need surgery is better dealt with earlyish on in the course of things. Not all cases are surgical however and the specialist is the one who should be able to tell this.
