Anemic kitty :(

I bought a kitten 2 days ago and when i picked her up I realised that she was extremely skinny and covered in fleas. I gave her a flea bath when I got her home combed out as many fleas as possible.

I had been giving her formulated milk (Lactol) every couple hours, I quickly realised this was gonna be a emergency vet trip when she wasn't eating and hardly moving at all.

The vet said she was severely anemic and skinny because of the amount of fleas that had caused her lots of blood loss. She said she wasn't so bad to keep her in cat hospital so it was a TLC job from me.

Since coming back I've been feeding her milk every 2 hours she started by only having 6/7 ml yesterday per feeding but had two big feedings of 15/16ml today😀 she's been walking about and using the litter tray but you can still tell she's very very weak. I kinda have to force her to eat sometimes as she refuses at first, she's had 81ml of milk in the last 24hours and 4ml of crushed up wet food that the vet gave which is full of vitamins and protein.

I'm just wondering what everyone would advice to try get iron in her body as I want to try boost her immune system. We aren't aloud to worm of flea her as she's 6/7 weeks only weighing 468g which is the weight of a 4 week old kitten. Any wet foods you would suggest that has lots of iron?

Hope you reported whoever you bought her from.
Did the vet suggest any food for you to give?

I have yes and I also got a bit of my money back so I could pay for her vet consultation and milk! They just told me to feed her every 2/3 hours and to try feeding her some of the food they gave me which is full of nutrients.

I just wanna make sure I'm giving her the best amount I can

Choose a kitten food. Maybe somewhere like pets at home would have a larger range of decent kitten food
