Does any one know if getting your kitten neutered stops him from pooing everywhere!! Will he suddenly realise that the litter tray is for pooing in at all times?

I think neutering only stops them spraying. I dont think it will improve his pooing habits...maybe try adding another litter tray. Or feed him where he poos. They wont poo where they eat (apparently!)

He poos anywhere and everywhere and... I just give up!!!!

you could try worming as well, ours always behaves badly when she needs worming.

I did worm him couple of weeks ago and it did appear to make a difference for a while. Seems abit soon to worm him again?

neutering is a good idea anyway so worth trying.
i got jumped on last time i suggested this but it worked for us . . .
can you get rid of the litter tray and throw him outside for a few days (or is he too little?) so he learns to use the garden instead of the house? we've got our cat an outdoor cat house. she's been let back in the house as well but she still likes curling up outside in her little cat house.
the worming stuff - was it the real deal or the stuff you get at supermarkets? that doesnt work as well - you can buy drontal over the net, that is pretty good at killing off those worms. i know kittens do need worming quite often.
look at me - i sound like i know cat stuff we've only had our cat for a year so i'm no expert. it was awful when she was like this though so you have my sympathies. i read that once they start, they smell the scent and keep using the same place, which makes it even harder to get them to stop - aaargh

you should get him neutered anyway because he'll be getting into fights - which means injuries/spraying/getting unspayed cats pregnant.

Cats protection can help with the costs.

The other thing to think about is, is he stressed ? Cats are usually very clean & will only go in their litter trays. When they poo somewhere else, there is usually a good reason.

when kittens are small they do need worming every few weeks until they are something like 6 months, then its once a month. So maybe try it, I don't think it would hurt.

Thanks for all your help. I will worm again and will def be neutering. Apart from the poo is quite nice really!
