Having nervous cat to stay?

A relative has been admitted to hospital. She has a very nervous cat that seems to spend most of its life in her airing cupboard.

I have no idea how long the hospital stay will be.

Would it be best to leave the cat at home, with a kind neighbour feeding it? Or to bring it to my house?

If to mine, what should I do to keep it safe & look after it? I have a dog & boisterous kids - it’s quite noisy here though I could shut off the attic for cat. I have no cat experience.

Can’t ask relative what she’s prefer as she is unconscious.

Leave the poor thing in it's own home.
Imagine it escaped from your busy sounding home for starters...

It will be happier at its own home for sure.

Much better if you can find someone to go in twice a day for food and a bit of fuss, and leave it in its own space. Leave the heating on though!

Thanks very much all. Will do. Very helpful.
