Pets bowls in dishwasher?

Hi we have a new cat and am wondering if ok to put cat dishes in dishwasher with ours or do them separately?

Get a new dishwasher, specifically for the cat dishes. Otherwise you are rank (according to MN).

Yes of course they go in the dishwasher - unless your cat is very special and has gold-plated cut glass bowls...

Bearing in mind that if you put your dishwasher on the eco setting it is probably only washing at 55c, resulting in all the cat’s mouth germs circulating amongst your plates, knives, and forks.

I wash ours in the sink, with a separate sponge.
