Clingy lockdown pet

I went in to work for one day this week.

When I came home my cat was crying very loudly, waiting for me at the front door.

Since that day she is my constant companion. She sits beside me while I work, has appeared in every zoom call and sleeps on my pillow.

Are we in for a nation of depressed pets when we all go back to normality! How will they cope.

We were asked which days we'd like to WFH and which we'd like to go in to the office, going forward.

I've opted to stay at home fully because I can't leave Ddog!

If I go out I leave my TV on for my dogs and cats so the house is not deathly quiet.

God I know what you mean. Our dog has a mini melt down if we go to the supermarket now
