My cat is trying to murder our kitten!

Hi, over a month ago we were given a little kitten and she is now 10 weeks old
Our large male Bengal gets on OK with the kitten but every now and then he tries to bite her on the front of her neck.
He usually tries this when she is climbing something and so can't claw him.
If he did it in an attacking motion i think she would defend herself.
But it's the way he does it so slowly as if he does not want her to reallise he is trying to bite her windpipe.
I've shouted at him a few times when he has done this and he scarpers so he does know he is doing wrong.
Hoping she'll grow up big soon so he cant do this "trick".

could you spray him when he attacks

Is he trying to get her down if she is climbing?

Ive never seen a cat attack slowly - its usually lightening fast!
