So our well house trained dog just poohed on my new rug in space of 20 mins from my dh going to work and me getting up
This is about the third time he has done this when we have bought a new rug
He is not ill
Anyway so I have vynl type floor and rug cleaned of the vynl with a diaenfectant wipe and then sprayed with dettol type spray and wiped and quickly run steam
Cleaner over so confident hard floor is clean , with rug i wiped area with water first then have wiped with biological powder and water and put kitchen roll on and left to absorb
Do I need to do anything else
Was thinking when dry wether tp clean those parts with some disenfectant as well or I do have a dog odour spray thing
There wasn't a lot on carpet after picking up worst , more concerned about the carpet being sanitised as such as no smell or visible stain
Whats the best way to deal with this ?
What should I have done differently ?
Rug is quite a deep pile
