Posting for knowledge as we’re fairly new dog owners. We got our rescue Lurcher in January this year. She’s very good, aged around 7 years and very affectionate and lovely. 2 weeks ago, she started digging in our garden, and also went off her food and stopped being interested in walks.
It could be the weather, I suppose, but do all dogs go through phases like this? (She does still go for her walks, but sometimes initiates a curtailment and takes a short cut home!)
She started eating again this morning, but is digging a seasonal thing?
