This is not a wind-up!!!!!!!!! Why is my dog trying to hump the cat, and what can I do about it???

This has been going on for a few days, the cat is neutered, but the dog is not. What can I do, the poor cat has a haunted look about her at the moment!!!!!!!!!!!!

I guess anything will do
No idea how to stop it. You couls spray him everytime he tries it, that is how I always got the cat to stop doing norty things.

Well he has always been quite a randy dog, but this is awful, he is quite big and she is only little, and every time she comes in to sleep or eat he starts licking her and then tries to hop on!!!

Any one got any sensible suggestions?

I was going to suggest a doggy-hooker, but I see you want sensible suggestions Think neutering's your best bet. Maybe assertiveness lessons for the cat?

Really don't want to get him done as we want some puppies from him - he is a very handsome boy don't you know!!!! It has only just started, maybe he is feeling very frisky at the moment

Yes Hidehi, might try that, the poor cat has slunk off out into the fog to get away from him. I have given him a bath to try and reduce his ardour!!!
