hi everyone

we are thinking of getting a dog, see prior post re JRT and poodle

we have discounted poodle as DH wont be seen with one lol

we like the look of cocker spaniels but dont like them untrimmed. I have read loads re not good to shave them . I would welcome your thoughts

so we are now down to JRT - nervous re nipping ?
spaniel or

if anyone else has suggestions for medium or small dogs which are good and can go decent walks and slow jogging

low maintenance and nice temperament

thank you

sorry that appeared before I finished it

It was meant to say - do you clip him yourself, your poodle is lovely colour

I do my DH with clippers and its always been fine apart from the time I did it with wine in me and took a strip up the back of the head with no guard on -
