Dog has cut the webbing between toes - won't leave alone!

Just that really, I noticed a couple of days ago that she had a cut between her pads on one of her back feet (she hurtles round a large ploughed field near us chasing pigeons and I think she must have cut it on a stone.) She isn't limping but I don't think it's healing because she won't stop licking it. Which is driving me mad. I've had a look at the cut and it looks oddly white, but not swollen. Any tips? She's being spayed this month so I could do without the extra expense of a vet visit. Although I will if it doesn't look any better in the next day or so..

Cone of shame?

FrostyGirl66 · 07/09/2020 21:22

Just stick a head cone on. Simple

Cone of shame time. You can get them on Amazon.

Bathe the foot with cooled, salted water a few times a day, and straight to the vets if it’s red/hot/pus.

Sorry, I forgot I'd posted Blush thanks for the responses. I didn't know you could buy cones independently of the vet! The cut seems to be healing which is great, but good to know for next time.
