Foster cat

Hello,

I'm currently fostering an older cat as the rescue had some poorly kittens and he was confined to a cage in one room as she didn't want him to get the infection the kittens have, do you think I should leave him in the bathroom for two weeks or let him explore? (Rescue manager has assured me he has been separate from the infected kittens and is free from infection but I had cats too and don't want to risk it)

Thanks

It's a good idea to let a new cat get used a new home by being in one room to start with anyway. I would definitely have him in a separate room.
