How do I sucessfully deter a cat from my front garden? - daily cat poo driving me mad

I have tried so-called spray deterrents but they work for one day and then not at all. It seems this cat is really getting comfortable as we wake up to 3 poos a morning, it smells awful and I am going mad. Any advice much appreciated!

You have my sympathy - we get this too. There have been quite a few threads about this in the past, but no real answers! Some people suggest lion poo as apparently the cats are frightened of bigger cats - you can get it in pellets I understand, although I haven't tried it myself! Other suggestions include grapefruit pieces around the garden - basically anything with a strong smell I suppose.

we waited until the cat that came everyday to shit in our garden was half way through its poo and then let the dog out.

it didn't come back after that.

you need the high frequency cat deterent, little black box that cats hate the sound of

Fill a couple of 2 litre plastic bottles, obviously take the labels off, with water and lay them in the garden.

It does work
