Was I wrong?

So, I am a member of a dog group on FB.
Yesterday a woman posted a request for help to stop her dog from chewing her furniture. She said that she had hit her dog but that hadn't worked!

I commented that she didn't deserve to have a dog and that I was disgusted at her actions.

She replied with a mouthful of abuse!

Was I wrong to call her out on her actions?

Depends what she means by 'hitting the dog' a little tap on the nose or a complete whack? I'm a sucker for things like this and would find it hard not to comment so i agree with you. However i think there's a tactic behind it, don't just go in there all guns blazing because it would certainly piss someone off 😂
