Any experienced with Pugs?

We have a pug puppy named Oscar who came to live with us on Saturday

We went to the vets today to have first jabs and I asked the vet a bit about pugs but he said they seem quite rarely.

I just wondered how common health problems are and what to be aware of. Also, anything else about the breed in general.

Breathing problems are common due to their face shape. Eye injuries occour easily due to the bulbousness(is that a word?) of their eyes. They overheat easily as they have difficulty panting to lose heat (again due to face shape).

Never had a pug but want one very much.
