Cat throwing Up food all the time

My cat is 9/10 years old and very playful friendly happy loving cat.
She belonged to my parents and they had her since she was able to leave her mum.

I moved out when she was about 4 and I always remember her leaving piles of undigested cat biscuits and wet food or she would throw up straight after eatin, and 100% of the time throw up the wet food.

My parents then just fed her biscuits and she was happy with that and atleast once a week she'd leave them a sick gift.

Ive haf her 2 years now and I tried her with a little wet food and she instantly sicked it up and I will always find a bit of sick somewhere once a week.

However I'm thinking this can't be healthy for her. And I'm worried she might have a problem.

Any help?

My cat is the same. He is always sick with wet food so only eats dry food. I always buy a good quality one and he has a bowl that dispenses itself so access to plenty of food. He is fine and healthy.

Maybe she just eats too fast. Get her one of those food mats that slow down eating. If it was a health issue or something sinister she wouldn’t have lived so long surely?

“There are several reasons for cats to regurgitate or vomit: Gorging – Cats that eat too much too fast may regurgitate from triggering a stretch reflex in the stomach. These cats regurgitate right after eating and the food is undigested in a tubular shape. It can also look like a round pile of undigested food”

It could be something similar to IBS/IBD. I have a cat who did this, some of the time he’d be fine others he’d throw up straight after eating.
Easily solved with a digestive care diet, steroids and anti acids

MILs cat was like this, throwing up food.
About the same age too.
Unfortunately he turned out to be extremely unwell with kidney failure if I remember rightly.
He was PTS not long after.
I think he had other symptoms on top though

My girl cat did this. She has IBD and had to have a lengthy course of steroids (about 18 months of injections) and is now on a totally restricted diet. She’s only allowed her biscuits and nothing else but she’s much better now.

Ours was a terrible puker. We have switched to Blink cat food delivered. its more expensive to buy but he hasn’t been sick once since we switched him to it. It also doesn’t smell as vile as brown wet food and there is less waste so happy with it.

Thank you for your advice everyone, I'll get her checked just incase and I'll invest in the slow food bowl and perhaps the dispenser...
Hopfully she's not sneaking food from the neighbours

One of mine was like this. Cutting down dreemies and swapping to Iams has really helped. I suspect she's wheat /grain intolerant.
