Kitten biting!

Need help! Our kitten is 5 months old and for the last couple of months has developed a biting habit - he goes for fingers, feet, faces, anything. Not nipping but actually biting hard to the point of nearly breaking skin.
He was due to have The Snip this month but due to lockdown it's been cancelled. We have tried absolutely everything - giving him treats when he's good to reinforce good behaviour, giving him teddies/chew toys to bite instead, moving away from him when he starts to bite, playing with him (not using hands, his favourite toy ever is a stick with ribbons on it!) to tire him out but nothing seems to be working. Anyone got any ideas? Picture of Trip for tax Grin

I'm sorry i can't help but i'm hoping @thecatneuterer can? (Hope you don't mind the tagging)

Gorgeous boy!

So cute!

We had a cat who was a bit bitey, never to me but to the rest of the household. Perhaps it’s a response to excitement? The only thing I would suggest is to ignore him whenever he bites.

Have you got a spray bottle. Use that when they do this and also reinforce when they don't?

Reinforce with treats when they don't I meant!

Try squeaking loudly in a high pitched squeak. It is what litter mates do to tell each other they have gone too far. He is only playing but as he gets older it naturally becomes more boisterous

Our kitten coco is also 5 months and this last 2 weeks has become a bit of a demon. She can't climb my legs anymore as she's too heavy for her own claws now, thank god, but she is quite nippy. I think it's a combination of maybe teething? Coming into maturity? Boredom? She is certainly very interested in the outside world all of a sudden and wants to roam the house freely which up until 2 weeks ago she was quite happy to be confined in one (large) room.

She is literally the most beautiful creature to ever walk gods green earth but my goodness, she is Satan's little sister. Do not be fooled.

Please don’t use a spray bottle on him. He’s perfectly capable of learning by using the squeaky sound technique or the word ‘No’.
