Missing cat- happy ending stories?

So my 5 year old cat has been missing since Saturday morning. He is a rescue cat (Neutered and microchipped) and not used to the outdoors at all. He is extremely shy and nervous and I'm beside myself with worry. Already struggling with lockdown with a very active two year old and financial problems due to waiting for furlough pay and now this. Been out as much as possible looking for him local and done all the tips like putting his tray and bedding outside but no sign. Made posters now and it's been shared all over Facebook but I could really do with some positive stories of missing cats finding their way home right now Sad I'm so worried for him now and sad I won't ever see him again. Anyone had a cat go missing for a while and find them again?? Give me hope 🤞

My cat went missing. He turned up a week later in Central London. I live around 40 miles North. He got into a delivery van is my best guess. Got him back!!

Thank you everyone! It was 19 days of absolute stress but it's over now. He's doing great, still pretty tired but getting his energy back today. I feel so lucky to have him back safe😺

I hope he had his best sorry eyes on for you..?! 😂

Haha oh most definitely he hasn't stopped purring since return! I found him meowing in a big bush just over the road. I knew it was his meow as soon as I heard it! Smile my guess is he's been stuck in a shed or something similar and only recently got out or hungers forced him out. I had my first night of decent sleep last night after the 19 days of non searching and I feel so much better.

He's on bed rest/grounded now Grin
