my new hamster chews everything!!

My poor old hamster died 2 weeks ago,he was nearly 3 and we got him when he was about 6months old. I bought another hamster last week and he's only 7 weeks old and he chews everything, pillows, towels, clothes etc. Is there something I can give him to chew other than wooden toys when he comes out to play? My other hamster wasn't like this but I don't know if it was because he was older or that he just didn't chew everything in sight.Will he grow out of it?

He might be teething or just like to chew. try toilet rolls, cardboard boxes etc. one of ours liked to chew so much he chewed everything he could incuding his wheel! You could also try a roller ball then he can run around without chewing everything, in addition to be handled lots too.
