Budgie advice

Have a Male budgie had him about a year now he is trained and comes to you and talks about a few month ago say july we got a female budgie we waited for a bit before induction male budgie to the female even to this day the male always backs away from the female doesnt like her going near him been like this for months we were wanting them to be both in same cage but it's looking like it will be separate cages

She is also taking her time to used to us any ideas on what to do next

As long as they're not attacking each other then I think it's fine, and just leave them together. Our female is very much in charge and if she ruffles up and stalks towards them, they flee. It's quite funny because she's much smaller.

But they do enjoy quietly each other's company. One of the males can be a bit of a mischief and will chew her tailfeather and run away, but they like to sit close.

When hes out the cage he automatically flys to hers and sits on the top talking away and if she is still in her cage she will go to that part of the cage hes at when they are in together it's like she goes near him he backs off but as soon as she walks away he follows and vice versa
