My neighbour has recently got a new kitten and named her Bindi. I thought that was a lovely name

PestoMonster · 18/08/2007 22:38

My neighbour named her 2 female cats Thelma & Louise. Sadly Louise went missing a few years ago and only Thelma now remains. (Beautiful tortoiseshells)

dinny · 18/08/2007 22:40

Inca?

Is Bindi that Steve Irwin's daughter?

Poor Louise

Darla and Drusilla - they'll turn out to be minxes but lots of fun!
Fred and Cordy - if one is shy and retiring and the other's a real madam.
Buffy and Faith - if one is naughty and the other really good.

I could go on like this for a long time!

dinny · 18/08/2007 22:43

ooh, please do carry on!

Another friend years ago had white females and they were called Blanche & Bianca. Again, they were gorgeous!

pollywollydoodle · 18/08/2007 22:44

snowwonder · 18/08/2007 22:44

rosie

Bubbaloo · 18/08/2007 22:45

Our female cats have been called Jasmine,Bella,Jake and Freddie(both Female!) and our "boys" are Tigger and Devon.

PestoMonster · 18/08/2007 22:45

Btw, it's pouring here and I just heard Thelma meowing to be let in (she sort of counts our house as her second home) and when I went to open the patio doors, she had a mouse in her mouth

I've sent her away with a flea in her ear!!

PestoMonster · 18/08/2007 22:46

Ooh, Snowonder, my Mum & Dad's cats are called Poppy and Daisy!!

dinny · 18/08/2007 22:46

was wondering if I could call them boys' names...

Rosie is the name of my old, long-gone tabby - so suited her, couldn't call another one it!

get that Lion thing for your lawn?

Well, for the House fans among us, there's Cameron and Cuddy (I want a pair of boys called House and Wilson).

Or, back to Buffy -Tara and Kennedy,Joyce and Jenny, Anne and Lily. (I've watched this programme far too often). Ooh - how about Glory and Jasmine (bit of a cross-over there to Angel)?

snowwonder · 18/08/2007 22:50

my cat is called daisy to and she is the most adorable grey cat i have ever seen....
love her to bits as do my girls..

slayerette · 18/08/2007 22:51

If you don't mind boys' names, you could always go with Charlie and Lola. Charlie's a unisex name anyway.

dinny · 18/08/2007 22:52

yea, Charlie and Lola good.

any more TV ideas? or literary?

I had a female rescue cat before, and she was already named Felix. It suited her though and didn't matter in the slightest.

Yes, I do keep finding mice presents from Thelma. She leaves them under my whirlygig washing line for me to find in the morning!

Lol!

snowwonder · 18/08/2007 22:56

mice seem to be the thing at the mo, funny enough mine leaves them under the rotary washing line>wired

PestoMonster · 18/08/2007 22:59

In cat world, rotary washing lines must signify mice graveyards

deegward · 18/08/2007 23:03

We liked Kylie Kat and Maggie the moggie

deegward · 18/08/2007 23:04

friend's cats were Diver and Muff, I didn't know why everyone laughed at the names!!! Obviously the other way round
