Rabbits going crazy after lighting candle

My two bunnies live in a big pen in my lounge. Bought a new Yankee candle which smells of lemon grass. Lit the candle and within a minute they were both charging around and stamping. Never seen them do this before, it must have been the candle.
Anyone else’s bunnies done this?

They have a very sensitive sense of smell as well as hearing, some smells will trigger stress and worry in them. My old pair would lose their minds when they were house bunnies and smelt cooking bacon.

I would recommend keeping that candle in rooms the rabbits are not in.

Put it out.

I have asthma and scented candles play havoc with my breathing, I can only imagine a rabbit's reaction.

Vaporized perfume in the air, terrible for the lungs.
