Do you think it's possible for dogs to get a bit depressed?
She had surgery 4 weeks ago and has been on strict crate rest. She's now allowed short 5 min walks and we can let her out in the garden and she's out when one of us can sit with her so all evening and maybe a couple of hours during the day. She's gone off her food a bit, taken to lying in a corner outside and refusing to come in until we lift her, not interested in her usual treats etc.
I'm beginning to wonder if she's just sad at being crated so much.
