Weed killer safe for cats

Apologies if this has been asked before.

I have a yard with a corner of soil which is overgrown with weeds plus they are growing like mad in between the paving.

Is there anything I can use to kill the weeds that is safe for cats?

She doesn't really leave the yard and so spends a lot of her time there.

Thanks in advance.

Afaik Most are ok once they have dried.

Conventional one and shut cats in till dry or I use strong vinegar on cracks. Works a treat and cats hate smell so won’t go near anyway If they did it wouldn’t harm them.

It's raining lots here so not sure it would dry.

What vinegar? Do you use it neat or water it down in a spray bottle?

If it deters cats it may also stop the neighbouring cats pooing in the soil.

Mine only uses her little tray in the house, so wouldn't cause issues for her.

I get the vinegar from amazon in bulk. It’s mega cheap. Then fill a watering can and water the weeds. Not so good for lawn weeds as kill grass but brilliant for patios drives etc.
