does anyone use an automatic pet feeder for their cat???

if so are they any good? we go away quite often at weekends and my poor neighbours always step in to feed the cat,i feel bad keep asking them so thought id see if a automatic feeder is any good?

Yes we have one. We originally had a clockwork one bhich wasn't very good but we now have abattery one and it is great.

we have one of these, the five meal one. you can set it to open twice a day or once a day

misdee we use to leave our guinea pigs with one of them big dry biscuit dispensers when we went away for a couple of days.

Sorry if this is TMI but be careful in hot weather with wet food - a fly got into ours and laid eggs

Dry food only I think

I don't why you shouldn't use it for rabbits and GPs. But I very much agree on the dry food only commemnt

We have one - there are 2 cool block thingies can can be used, but agree dry food would probably be better if you are thinking of mre than 2 nights away
