Hi there, mine has recently gone missing too. Try going out late at night (2am) and calling when sound carries further, making sure to stop and listen for her calling back - do this for a few nights in a row. Maybe do this outside shut garages and near big bushes.

Knock and ask neighbours to check sheds and garages - even better if they'll let you do it! Put up posters with a clear picture as well, in case someone local has taken her in and feeding her without realising she belongs to someone.

I've called all my nearest vets as well to let them know in case someone rings them having found a cat.

A trick I've not yet tried is hanging things that smell of home out in the garden in case the scent carries - contents of the vacuum and bedding are good apparently.

Good luck x

Please don't call your cat at 2am, your neighbours will hate you!

This has happened to me before and it is the worst, most stressful thing.

The most important thing to remember is it's very normal for cats to wander for days at a time - even cats who normally don't stray for or stay out for long. My cat had barely spent more than ten minutes in the garden before suddenly vanishing for a night and two days.

Ask your neighbours to check garages, sheds and under their decks. Let your local vet and cat shelter know.

In the meantime, put something that smells of her (her litter tray or bed) outside the door. They can smell a familiar scent from far away.

Cats are bravest and most active at dusk, so look for her then, with cat treats to tempt her.

She will be back OP - this is very normal cat behaviour! Thanks
