lol,
Dhs cat once brought in 2 baby birds, and adult magpie and a frog all in one night, you shouldve heard my MIL when she opened the livingroom door that morning, pmsl

hehe

one of ours brings in leaves - although we don't mind that so much, not since the day when she brought in a five pound note - a bit crumpled from being out in the rain but perfectly serviceable.

the other one 'rescues' pairs of socks from our drawers, and leaves them proudly in the sittingroom...

hmm, will have to get her to like the taste of money

she's brought home a cooked chicken and have a joint of pork before, and i've had a few mice, in fact i think its because i ignored the half chewed mouse in the garden this morning, she thought i may prefer mud

One day our neighbours' cat brought us three fat caterpillars - each time I subtly put them outside while appearing grateful. The fourth time he came back in the pouring rain with a cooked chicken leg! I thought that was a nice touch.

A fiver would have been better though!

mine used to bring in toast (freshly toasted and still warm) Never found out where from !

TheHerdNerd · 24/07/2007 20:33

MrsW - that's hilarious! Imagine your poor toast-deprived neighbour swearing the 5th time!

pmsl!

MrsWeasley · 24/07/2007 20:37

if I'm honest I was to afraid to mention it to my neighbours
