Moving abroad with pets

We are moving to Luxembourg later this summer.

We have four dogs, four cats and two rats. The dogs and cats are all neutered and vaccinations up to date.

However, does anyone have any tips on how to make this move as least traumatic as possible? Particularly the cats who, I suspect, will be really cheesed off. They've only ever lived here with us in England.

ensure they have enough space in their travelling crates to stand up and turn around. if you are flying, they will need to have enough ventilation (and make sure they have easy access to water.) as for settling in, keep them inside for the length you would a new kitten before letting them out. this gives them a chance to get used to their surroundings and means they won't run off. all the best x
