Just let the cat out for the first time and worrying

We rehomed her from my parents and she's so sassy. Lot of love for that cat. And we've just taught her how to use the cat flap. Left her out tonight and I know I'm going to be wide awake worrying about her. She can totally look after herself but the mind does what it wants! Guess I'm posting for moral support

Better to let her out in the morning and get her in at night. Much safer. Hope she’s home early and hungry tomorrow!

Agree with day access rather than night if you can. Although my two are taking the piss right now....

Why did you let her out at night? Best to let out during the day

Mine often stay out a bit later when it gets warmer. But they have a dusk till dawn curfew.
Microchipped to you? That gives me some peace of mind. And if the cat has been with you for weeks it’ll know where home (and the dreamies) is!

Shes been home all day climbing the walls according to DH and she was finally interested in the cat flap/trying to climb out the window so we knew it was time. The dreamies are ready and waiting 😁
