i have 3 female cats, baby, molly and elle

dinny · 15/07/2007 16:17

mmm, am currently thinking Mouse and Tilly, the names dd suggested...

they were going to be Max and Riby if they were a boy and a girl, ds really wants his to be a boy so may pretend oen of them is and stick to orig plan!

my sis allowed her dc's to name their cats litter of kittens - this lead to a couple being named after the children themselves and one being called christmas - it is a risk but you could leave the naming to your dc.

Max and Ruby are lovely names too.

We had a perfectly white dog called Spots, we got inspired by the neighbour's dog

A cousin of mine had 2 cats that looked exactly the same. They were called "one" and "two". It would have made more sense to call them "x" and "y".

WanderingTrelawney · 15/07/2007 16:42

Nope.

Tis my Potter name.

I'm usually a trolley.

Scout and Boo

I knew someone who had two kittens called Jerry and Arthur till he found they were girls, so changed their names to Merry and Martha.

Any of Maggie, Milly, Molly, May from the poem

Shelley and Rosetti

Elizabeth and Margaret (or Lizzie and Meg)

Anne and Diana

Katy and Clover

(can you tell I like literary names?)

I would go with Katy and Clover I think!

dinny · 15/07/2007 17:10

hey, was thinking Scout and Cal (see earlier down thread) but Scout and Boo is PERFECT

sorry - Katy and Clover?? (prob thick and obv ques)

Katy and Clover are from What Katy Did by Susan Coolidge - one of my favourite books ever!

tortoiseSHELL · 15/07/2007 18:18

Ah, didn't read the thread! Great minds hey!

dinny · 15/07/2007 18:54

yeah, used to love What Katy Did/Next etc - but have got total blank about Clover!!!!

OP posts:
tortoiseSHELL · 15/07/2007 18:57

Clover was her sister (the next one down), they went off to school together. In fact the last two books are about Clover.

dinny · 15/07/2007 18:59

I can only really remember her being in her bed - must reread all.
