Any suggestions on how to catch a cat who doesn't want to be caught

Already had to cancel one vets appointment.

Today my appointment is at 12.20. Caught the cat and locked her in downstairs loo about 20 mins ago. DS has just opened the door and she has scarpered

She is now in the garden and knows I need her

Have already tried food - no joy. At the moment I can't even see her?! What are my chances??

Leave the door open and put the finest chicken or fish there

Slim I think. Haven't you got a big net and a pith helmet or something? You need to stalk it.

Cece, you are a fantastically slow stalker. Stalk for 5 mins then grab it by the tail or something?

Or borrow a dog? It could be a sheep trained dog, who could sort of round it up or something?

Release small and excitable mice on the back doorstep?

She made a tactical error and went and hid in the greenhouse!

Got her and she is now well and truely inside, not one window or door open

Ignore her for 10 minutes then rattle the tuna tin or whatever she really likes and wait for her to come in, Then shut the door quickly

Dof no good as she goes up onto the garage roof to get away from them and yes I must be slow - she is too fast for me as she uses bushes to slow me down!

cats are naughty aren't they?! I love mine even though her breath stinks. x
