Show him Fatal Attraction and say right you little sod...if you don't come in within the next five mins.......

You need a couple of large fishing nets, two people and lots of patience.

Misdee · 08/07/2007 23:51

We had this a couple of weeks ago with our rabbits - except they had escaped into the wider world that is beyond our fence

They turned up in the shop next door the following morning. I got a phonecall at 7.04 am! No lie-in.

As you can tell, I gave up on the little bar stewards, and dreamed all night of wicked badgers and cunning foxes as my penance.

have left his hutch door open ,shed door open and run open, so hopefully if he does get pounced upon he can get to safety.

next time he can go in the run only

Misdee · 09/07/2007 09:45

Can you create a makeshift barrier across the garden, with sun loungers on thier side / boxes / wnatever, and then keep moving it forwards so that the rabbit is coralled into a smaller area? Preferably the area with the hutch in, so that he dashes into the hutch?

I'm not leting our loose...dinner for urban foxes in no time!

nappyzone · 11/07/2007 20:43

did you ever get him in? we had rabbits years back (never again we have gp's now) and they dug out of our secure garden and were running all over the culdesac so we chased round (much to our neighbours amusement) with a laundry basket - chased them somehow into a neigbours garden and cornered them - bloomin nightmare! it took a mere 3 hrs!

MadEyeMisdee · 11/07/2007 20:51

yeah i caught him. i chassed him into his warren in the garden, blocked one exit, and put his run over the other exit. so when he finally popped up, i blocked the hole, and got him back in the cage.

MadEyeMisdee · 11/07/2007 23:11

MadEyeMisdee · 11/07/2007 23:14

filchthemildmanneredjanitor · 11/07/2007 23:15
