their vivariums are kept in the garage. Follwoing on from a thread earlier. I have got two geckos from school. They are both in a wood/glass viv and have a heat mat that is plugged in. The vivs are quite big and dont have loads of room indoors.

Will they be ok in the garage. The garage has two huge windows and a full glazed door so they can get the required light through the day.

It is not cold in there as the tumble is going alot of the time. The garage does seem to retain heat for some reason.

Advice would be grateful.

I think they will be ok, if you can put up a thermometer up just to keep an eye on the temp that would be good. I'm sure if the temp doesn't fluctuate greatly they should be fine

no idea, but one fell into our fridge once (it was sitting on the seal, I didn't notice it and opened the door, it fell in and ran to the back) and I couldn't get the blighter out, so I shut the door on it. 1/2 hour later when it was very still, we got it out nd put it in the sun, took about 10 mins to warm up and run off again!
