Jack russell 6months old

Just got our jack russell yesterday he is 6 months old but we are unsure what to feed him and how much any advice would be appreciated

If he is anything like my jack Russell, tennis balls, squirrels 🐿 and anything that moves should do it.
I’m kidding of course. How much does he weigh and how active will he be ? I.e how many walks a day etc
