corn snakes

has anybody got a corn snake?
i want to get one for my ds for christmas but want to reserch it first
are they ok to look after?
what do you need?
how big should their tank be?

the dolphin 'experience' was wonderful - DH, DD and I met Franny at Xcaret in Mexico - would have liked to have swum with her, but I was 2 months pregnant at the time.

BTW, dmo, snake poo stinks!

oh thats too much information about snake poo ugh.i have small dolphin tattoo on my shoulder.i bet it was a wonderful experience

I'd forgotten about the jumping/flying rats!!! Mine would jump out of the cage to a foot stool, then from the stool to my lap

I want one of those dumbo rats! My rat was rather lazy really, he never ran anywhere. Agree about the affection tho, he would curl up inside my top and fall asleep. He never weed on me neither. I wish dp would let me keep one.

Dolphins are lovely too. ds1 was very lucky to be picked out at a show in spain, and got to feed them fish and pet them, then get pulled around in a little boat by one of them. I was worried about him falling out, but all the other dolphins were watching him so intently.

was it by any chance in Majorca at marineland ? that is where i saw the dolphins and they picked a child out of the audience to go in a little boat.just wondered if tahts where you wentdolphins are wonderful

they grow huge, my friend's ds has one and it was about the size of a pencil when he got it - now it must be about 1m plus and thicker too. It's lovely though, and very frinedly.

They do - ours is about 5' long we think (it won't straighten out to be measured , and its skin doesn't usually come off in one piece) and pretty chunky in the middle - has a very small head relatively though, not like a python or something.

It was close to full grown when we got it though - it would have been nice to see it grow from a pencil but there weren't any that size in the shop. They live about 20 years so we have a few years to go yet.

snakes are fab i had 2 pythons when i was growing up dp wont let me get a snake but i have a bearded dragon {see profile!}
hes very tame and rats are also fab! want one!
